The area where there used to be a marshalling yard of the Belgian railways, was recently turned into Park Spoor Noord. It is a popular spot with fountains, a playground and a skate park.

What I like about Parkspoor Noord is that you see a mixture of all nationalities.
It borders Borgerhout, where a large Moroccan community lives.
It is not easy to mix the native Belgian population with the immigrant residents.
But here it works. In the summer you see a mixture of nationalities, in peace next to and with each other. That's how it should be.
